Sugar is something we as Americans over consume on a daily basis, not just the holidays.
Sugar is in almost all processed foods, including a lot of condiments. So, even when you think you are not eating sugar, you may be having more than you would expect.
Some common condiments that have sugar hidden in them are spaghetti sauce, salad dressings, ketchup, nut butters, and dipping sauces. I want to share some sugar-free, healthier options that you can get to help limit your sugar intake on a daily basis.
When looking in your pantry, be sure to look at labels and look for the added sugars. Also, look at the ingredient list and you always want to make sure sugar (especially corn syrup!!) is not in the first 5 ingredients!
