Hello beautiful people!
Can we talk about something real for a minute? Life feels INTENSE lately, doesn’t it? Between back-to-school chaos, work demands, and just… everything… I’ve been more intentional than ever about supporting my nervous system. And honestly? It’s been a game-changer.
I get asked ALL the time what I actually use to help manage stress and regulate my nervous system, so I thought I’d share my current favorites with you. These aren’t fancy or complicated – just simple tools that actually work.
Magnesium – This is my non-negotiable. I take it every single night and it’s like a gentle hug for my nervous system. If you’re feeling wired and tired at the same time, magnesium might be your new best friend.
Better Hormones – Y’all know I’m all about hormone health, especially as we navigate our 40s and beyond. This has been such a support for my overall well-being. (Use code ANN10 if you want to try it!)
Beam – For those nights when my brain just won’t turn off, this has been a lifesaver. Natural, gentle, and helps me actually stay asleep.
Hydration – I know, I know, it seems basic. But proper hydration is FOUNDATIONAL for managing cortisol and supporting your nervous system. I’m talking quality electrolytes, not just chugging water.
Happy Light – Especially during these shorter days, light therapy first thing in the morning has been incredible for my mood and energy. It’s like sunshine in a box!
Hatch Sound Machine – This thing has transformed my sleep. White noise, nature sounds, whatever your nervous system needs to feel safe and calm.
Eye Mask & Cozy Pajamas – Sometimes the simplest things make the biggest difference. Creating that cozy, safe sleep environment tells your nervous system it’s time to rest.
Yoga Mat – For gentle movement, stretching, or just lying on the floor when life feels overwhelming. Movement doesn’t have to be intense to be healing.
The 5-Minute Journal – Gratitude practice is POWERFUL for nervous system regulation. Just five minutes of intentional gratitude can shift your entire day.
I rotate between Headspace, Calm, and Gabby for meditation. Find what works for YOUR nervous system – they’re all different but equally amazing.
For podcasts, I’ve been loving The Cathy Heller Podcast episode with Dave Asprey on upgrading your brain and dissolving stress, and The Cabral Concept episode on becoming resilient to stress. Both are packed with practical tips you can actually use.
And when I need to decompress? I have playlists specifically for anxiety and stress relief. Music is medicine, friends.

Here’s what I’ve learned makes the biggest difference:
Speaking of cortisol… we start our 5-Day Cortisol Reset on Monday (August 18th) and I am SO excited! This isn’t just another quick fix – this is about understanding WHAT cortisol actually is and WHY it matters so much for everything from fat loss to energy to sleep.
You’ll learn how to optimize your workouts and nutrition to actually SUPPORT your cortisol instead of fighting against it. This is a brand new workout and nutrition cycle and it’s going to be incredible.
For just $20, you get:
This is seriously the LAST CALL – we start Monday!
Here’s to supporting our nervous systems, managing our cortisol, and doing life together. You’ve got this, and I’ve got you!
All my love, Ann
